The Heineman Winery is an institution on Put in Bay, founded in 1888 and playing an important role in Put-in-Bay history ever since. Put-in-Bay's is home to an original 1917 Herschel carousel, one of the last merry-go-rounds in the country that's still up and running and you can ride this classic for only $1.50.
